Another week, a 5th post

Hey,

I am back again with another DIY project. This one however is less work than the previous post however it does accent a place of choice within the house.

Last time I told you how much I love dark colors but I also have love for metallic! Remember these DIY projects can be altered to your taste. You can use colors that you like and they will turn out just the same except with your style and taste!

This is some simple and very easy wall art. Practically takes 10 minutes. Materials used for this was a sketch pad, chalk pastel, leaves and spray paint. Here are some step by step pictures.

Firstly, I used chalk pastel because I like the textured look under the gold spray paint. Do not forget to lay plastic on the ground before spraying and the last step would be to take this and frame it. Hang on your wall whether it be in your room or living room and it is easily a piece of affordable art. Like I said before, you can used different mediums such as watercolor, oil pastel or acrylic paint for the base and any color spray paint of your choice. Remember to follow the color wheel however so the the base and top coat match. Gold and silver pretty much stands out the most.

Stay tuned for more,
Xoxo
Ariel.
